Before I start I will want us to know or understand what the word remembrance means...? Remembrance
is the act of reckoning or recognition of an act that was done in the positive or the negative that left a trace in our experience or in our course of life or in our journey of life...it can be defined as an act of recalling or flashback of an event,act,benevolent or magnanimous character displayed towards a person,individuals or group of people..
Earth must first bear witness of u before heaven...what will u be remembered for what will be said of u what will friends well wishers enemies or strangers bear witness of you....would people say he was or she was a good person and don't deserve to die will people come out in mass to pray a prayer of Thanksgiving to God for a life of emulation spent in the precept of God or will people say thank God he or she is dead so that we will have rest or will your pastor rejoice and praise the lord that you made heaven or will of be curses and insult on the day of your death for only what u did on earth its what u will be remembered for...
Isaiah 38:1-5 Hezekiah said no I can't die now and said to God there is a mistake somewhere oh lord this time you did a mistake go to my book of remembrance that is to say there is a book of chronicles in heaven where our good deeds are recorded he said check it and see what I have done in your house for u God why must I die and the bible said that God whose word never changes did changed immediately when Hezekiah challenge him to check the book and his good deeds spoke for him now my question is what good can you use to put God into test and say father remember....?
2 Samuel 9 makes it clear that David remembered What good deed Jonathan did for him after years and ask is there yet anyone remaining in the house of Saul that I may show him kindness because of a dead man....what God can u be remembered for the Bible say that Rehab a prostitute hide the spy's that Joshua sent to Jericho so that they won't be killed and Joshua remembered that good deed and God asked him to preserve her life..what will u be remembered for the angels of God entered the city of Sodom and Gomorrah and save only lot and his family because they have record of fear of God what about u are u following the crowd in they dealings or following God in his gentle movement.....?
What will you be remembered for my sister my brother what will your life speak to people of and where do you think you will be at the last moment of your breath...? Think heaven think Hell think life think death what shall become of you and I after this time out...?
I maybe remembered for preaching salvation and truth if only I continue doing good so what about u....when people hear that u are sick like Lazarus will Jesus and people say this sickness is not for death or will people pray that u die quick what shall people say when they heard u entered into coma will people say and pray u give up the ghost because of your wickedness will people say oh he is dead let's bury him or her very quick if not if he or she wakes there will be more disaster....? Or will people pray for your recovery...?when men testify on earth that u are good heaven marks it and confirms u good tell me as u are reading this what do u think that heaven can hold unto as a memorial from u and say oh that's a beloved child of God come to the blossom of Christ or go to the blossom of your master the devil..
The bible said that the good deeds of Cornelius went as a memorial before God in heaven even when he was not a born again meaning that u must not speak on tongues or call down fire for your heart to be pure before u can do good....hmmmm its natural for every soul knoweth the difference between good and evil what will u be remembered for....????
